I've been reading since I was a kid. Fantasy, horror and thrillers... Anything that shocked me and got the pages turning.
For fantasy, I was on a diet of Dragons of Autumn Twilight, The Lord of the Rings and Dungeons and Dragons.
Horror brought me a slice of Shaun Hutson, Clive Barker, Richard Laymon and James Herbert.
And to top it off? The thrillers of Dean Koontz were perfection.
My perfect book is one that every reader can dive into, popcorn bucket and snacks in hand. I wanted heroes and villains, love and tragedy. But most of all? I wanted to journey. I wanted to ride the thrill coaster with the reader and adore hearing their feedback.
So here's where my books sprung to life. The psychological thrills of "What We Leave Behind", to the horrors of "If We Were One" to the classic fantasy of "The Darktouched".
And I am listening to the reader. For "The Darktouched", currently a planned series of 5 books, I will make sure all the spines are lined up perfectly and the series looks amazing both within their pages and on your shelves. Each will have it's own soundtrack for a totally immersive experience too.
